OUR HOMES: BODY, SOUL & SPIRIT
Our homes are our body, soul, spirit sanctuaries: we physically embody these places for shelter, security and warmth...they're 'soul-ish' zones where we safely nurture our closest relationships, experience our most intense emotions and create our 'special-est' memories...they're spiritual spaces where we find harmony, community and interdependency with our families and friends.
When Susan and I bought our first home together, it was such an exciting, joyous experience. We got this huge canvass to create with inside and out, faux painting the walls, redesigning the kitchen and floors on the inside and building gardens, decks, forts and sheds on the outside over those 14 years. We birthed both of our girls inside the walls of that home, warmed ourselves daily in the winter with the original wood stove, took shelter from the crazy thunderstorms in the spring and wind in the fall and enjoyed breaks from the intense sun in the glorious summers. We laughed, we cried, we lived and we loved in that special home.
Selling our home was emotional: I'll admit to you that the last day we were physically on the property, I had quite the moment of tears because of the immense gratefulness I felt to God for allowing us to enjoy this marvelous place and for so long. I thought we'd miss it so much but now on the other side, I've realized why I never have: because home is where our hearts live together, not any particular walls surrounding us. We now take joy knowing that our former house is a blessing of a home to its new owners and our now dear friends and their young, growing family!
WHY I HELP PEOPLE BUY AND SELL THEIR HOMES
If you know me, you know I've worn a few distinct hats in my career: as a young salesman and pastor, as a former therapist and as current personal coach and business owner. The skills I've learned in each of these roles has prepared me to uniquely serve my clients in the most important transactional decisions of their lives.
In sales, I learned how to negotiate with the people on the other side of the transaction to create a win-win solution that was acceptable and beneficial to the clients I represented. I go to bat for you as my sole and highest priority as your agent-not the other agent, not my broker and especially not me...just you.
As a pastor, I learned to care for people and serve them in their needs. In fact, my life verse is Mark 10:45: "For even the Son of man (Jesus, speaking of himself), did not come to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many." I look at our relationship as an opportunity to serve you. There's no pressure on me to make money because I've never considered my clients as my providers...God is my provider. So, I get to simply focus on helping YOU!
During my days as a therapist, helping marriages, families and individuals, I learned that a person's sense of worth and value is infinitely important and we are all intrinsically lovable and deserving of respect, kindness and unconditional positive regard. I hold you in the highest regard and realize your home is part of who you are. So, I treat you and it with the special dignity and honor merited therein.
As a personal coach and business owner, I've grown to bear the weight of great responsibility to my more than 3000 clients over the past 20 years, nearly 50 employees and their respective families. When people are anxious and stressed, they need a friend and one who is calm and knows how to be calming to others because he cares. When you're an employee, you need an employer who has your best interests in mind and who knows how to help you reach your highest potential. I'm proud and humbled to have put many minds at ease and hearts at peace, helping clients with solutions they need for their lives and serving my employees in such a way that's gleaned my favorite compliment ever: "You're the best boss I've ever worked with!"
SERVING YOU AS YOUR REAL ESTATE AGENT
As your Realtor® in AZ (or USRealtor®Finder across the US and Canada, if that's the case), I put your concerns to rest and help you create unique solutions to your home buying and selling challenges. Even though I work for you and not the other way around, I still treat you with the same supportive encouragement and dedication I've given my employees over the decades and in such a way that one day you too will be able to say "Jason, you're the best Realtor® I've ever worked with!"
