Depends on a few factors: 1) Is it an existing client? If yes the consultation will most likely be pro bono. 2) If not an existing client then the specifics of the job become more pertinent as to where it is along with how large the project is and how much time will an initial walk-thru take. Note that all initial fees that may be associated with a consultation get refunded should we get to do the elevator consulting.

In either case there is a strong chance that the initial consultation will not be a charged item.  The client will know prior to the consultation if there is a fee associated with it.
