Is cold calling a thing of the past?

I have always thought it was a great way to start connections and relationships. Meeting someone face to face rather than through an email.

Something Ihave noticed recently is more and more people are reaching out solely by email or phone. Even close colleagues feel that they get the same results from just sending an email.

What has your experience been? I'd love to hear others thoughts on the matter.

For anyone in the Essex/Middle River area, Irun a Creative Writing Workshop at the Essex library. We generally meet on the second Monday of each month.
