One stat missing is, at what level is the part time/contractor engagement at.

Are we at entry level,mid level  or management / specialist jobs?

In my industry, Information Technology, contracting out has been common place for many years be it for projects or for MSPs. I think more are finding ways to cut payroll expenses.
