Life Options Clinic is a non-profit, faith-based organization that helps families in our community with practical needs. We provide prenatal classes, nutrition classes, parenting classes, child safety classes, life-skill classes, and Bible studies, and our clients earn "baby bucks" to purchase their material needs such as diapers, clothes, car seats, cribs, pack and plays, etc. We also provide FREE limited ultrasounds to women in their first and second trimesters of pregnancy. We provide referrals and help by cooperating with other local agencies for Medicaid, WIC, the Health Department, Physicians, etc.
The Young Women’s Missionary Union at First Baptist Church of Milton, Florida, first recognized the need for a crisis pregnancy center in 1993. The group wanted to provide a Christ centered community involved ministry that would offer women alternatives to abortion while providing them with a much needed support during and after their pregnancy.
First Baptist Church of Milton provided the initial resources that enabled the PRC to get started. In January 1995, the center incorporated. Several weeks later, Sandy Eperson, director of the Crises Pregnancy Center of First Baptist Church in Orlando, conducted a 10 hour seminar which trained 20 PRC volunteers how to operate the center.
On March 20, 1995 the Pregnancy Resource Center opened its doors.
In January 2019 we moved to our new facility at 5775 Berryhill Road, Milton, FL and transitioned to our new name "Life Options Clinic."
