Employment & Food Services by Milwaukee Center for Independence

Employment & Food Services

People with barriers to work, including disabilities or criminal convictions, receive training, placement and coaching to help them gain and maintain meaningful employment.

MCFI offers specialized custodial and food service industry training; those in the training program provide fresh and healthy meals to school-aged children.

As part of the Summer Meals Program, MCFI makes more than 23,000 meals a day for children whose sole access to nutritious food may be school food programs.
