I do business as an internet marketing consultant for small locally based businesses. I have promoted my services by offering them as products, such as doing adwords management, SEO, Google 3 pack, reputation management etc. I am based in Minneapolis and most but not all of my clients are local to the area. The services I offer can be implemented anywhere in the US and possibly beyond.

And I have always offered them as "Services."

Now I tell myself and them that this will help boost their online traffic, and sales, and they do.

The lesson I have learned, and this may seem subtle, but I've come to understand that what I do isn't offering services, but empowering my clients.

Like players in the various roles playing games, I am an additional power card providing them additional traffic of potential customers to their persona, busines or game plan, thereby improving their ability to succeed in the game.

I help my clients power-up for success.

I hope to use this understanding to power up my own ability to connect with small businesses interested in powering up their game plan.
