Hillary Robertson was looking at and living in an unpredictable job market, seeing how AI is changing how businesses do business, and suddenly saw a strong reason to change.
There's always a reason to change... since none of us should "remain the same." Sounds like a verse from the song Dock of the Bay:
"Look like nothing's gonna change
Everything still remains the same
I can't do what ten people tell me to do
So I guess I'll remain the same..."
Except Hillary didn't do what ten people told her to do; she decided to sail away from corporate America, working as a corporate executive administrator, and go off on her own and become a fractional executive admin, running her own show, and providing strong value to others with her expertise in helping executives and entrepreneurs manage their workload, particularly by streamlining inbox management and daily operations.
Hillary has done the heavy lifting now as well, having passed the one-year anniversary of running her own business; and as any entrepreneur knows, the first year is the toughest.
You never forget your first.
Right now, the business is called Hillary Helps, but she is looking to transition to Lumen Leadership Support in the new year, sharing her "bright light" as a beacon to assist busy business people in cutting the fluff and maximizing the profits in their business.
And what about the felines and fine music? Well, Hillary is a cat lover and also enjoys fostering other felines, since animals provide such love, warmth, joy, and emotional security. The sound of a cat purring is music to her ears, but there's also more fine music emanating from the Robertson home. Hillary's husband is a professional musician who plays guitar and keyboard in a band and has written more than 400 songs, including one on a Grammy-nominated album! He's even had a song covered by the legendary Peter Gabriel!
