SEO
Some people say SEO is dead - I disagree. Today, getting in the Google 3 pack is clearly important, but not all searches generate a 3 pack, and even when they do, it is nice to appear more than once on a search results page.
I do my best to get my clients to appear on both. SEO takes longer, but pays huge dividends on atypical searches that do not bring up the 3 pack.
I have some very small clients that outrank long established businesses due to my ongoing SEO efforts on their behalf.
