I am an independent artist providing abstract art, assemblages and metal collages to designers, architects, interior designers, art consultants and galleries.
I live and work in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My showroom and studio is located in North Minneapolis in the Northrup King Building, Dock 7, Space 192, showing 30-40 pieces in a gallery setting. My art can be found in public and private collections throughout the U.S.
My work is abstract and contemporary, reusing a combination of materials including remnants of copper, steel and aluminum, along with weathered woods and found objects. These are transformed by treating with acids, solvents, waxes and paint. Other changes are made by crushing, grinding, torching and sanding to further alter the materials.
These works have a close affinity to architecture and geographic settings. The deep structured surfaces are industrial and have sculptured depth that emphasizes their physical presence.
