As a leadership consultant everything I do is networking somehow...every contact with a person is "networking" because leadership is about people, and connecting with people to accomplish the goals of the organization.  I'm not a good salesman, and won't try to sell you something you don't need, but I will tell you if I think you need something, sometimes whether you want to hear it or not...
