This is a question I am asked often. I have explained to ten's of thousands of salespeople that their customers buy on emotion and justify the purchase with logic. So you will not get a sale without building an emotion (yes even anger buys) and you will never keep a sale (customer) without benefits to build the logic of the purchase. One without the other is a diaster!!!

Best and Most Effective are two different things. Most of the methods I have seen answers for already relate to the Most Effective way to get the most people to see your product. The Best is normally one on one, eye to eye because you can craft your marketing message while you are in the moment. But this is extremely ineffective in the long run. Finding your target market and finding the pain and pleasure points of the sale is best done though in the smaller marketing and then use it in the most effective media, whether that is SEO Radio TV or as a friend of mine did it the other in front of a crowd in front of 30,000 people at a packed arena. But he couldn't do that until he knew why all of those people were interested and that was in small groups first. By the way, he sold $3,000,000 at $297 a pop because his message hit the spot.

One of the very first lessons I learned as a business owner nearly 50 years ago is if you have a bad debt, bounced checked or a slowing paying customer is you must collect. The reason was not the outstanding balance but the lifetime value of the customer. If they owed you and they weren’t paying then they were avoiding you. Then you not only lost the debt but you lost the customer. Worst case scenario if you collect the debt is you still lose the customer but in most cases this customer was not ashamed to come back and do business knowing that the agreement they made with you was binding.
Over the tears of buying business and turning them from losers to profitable that was always the secret. Often I assumed businesses that were closing their doors for less than the bad debt to be collected, and then selling them at a profitable multiple.

This is a very standard answer for me. Find a place where you are alone with no distractions. Get a legal tablet with several pages and number each line 1 to 100. Now turn off that part of your brain that says what you can and can't do because the only thing that side of your brain does is...

This is a very standard answer for me. Find a place where you are alone with no distractions. Get a legal tablet with several pages and number each line 1 to 100. Now turn off that part of your brain that says what you can and can't do because the only thing that side of your brain does is limit what you can do.
Now list the top 100 clients you would love to have. And don't say anyone is too big or any is too important. Don't allow yourself to not put someone down. fill in all 100 lines with the biggest, the brightest and the best to be your customers.
Now go drink a caffeine beverage because you have to start at the bottom of that list and find someone better that you skipped. Do this until you have the perfect top 100.
Now you go to work and you contact them, you introduce yourself, you pester them until they give you a chance. You do what you have to do to earn their business. And as you go along your passion will inspire even more people to become a client for life.
While I was never homeless, I did grow up so poor that if we didn't grow it we didn't eat. We bought bread that had expired at the day old bread store to feed our pigs and cows.
In my life, I have Hall of Fame athletes, Famous entertainers, a President, a guy who named his restaurant chain after his daughter and the richest man in the world at the time as a customer. And all of that happened to a dumbass Kansas Dairy farmer.
Do think what you can't do but do everything that is impossible.

Good Morning Terrified
I am one of those introverts as well but each day for the last 54 years I remind myself that I play the "role" of being an extrovert to provide for my wife, 6 kids, 25 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren and that I would not have been able to have done it any other way.
I change my mindset from trying to sell to try to serve and in doing that I am asking questions to learn about my customers. While they are answering they are telling me where the joy is and telling me where the pain is. And the questions you asked don't matter as much as just getting them to talk. If your customers are talking then as introverts we get to do what we do best which is to listen. And those that listen the most sell the most.
There are very few times in the last 35 years that I have anyone to buy anything from me. I listen until they ask me to solve a pain point and then I am serving them which is easy for an introvert. The question then is can you be successful doing that, early in my career once I learn this I became one of the top new car salespeople in the nation, turning that into a career of owning 7 new car dealerships, retiring, then starting a little part-time company that I ended up training over 300 sales agents, retiring once again only to become one of the top salespeople at the worlds largest yacht brokerage and now retiring again to train salespeople how to sell. and I am scared to death every morning when I wake-up until I realize my role is to serve and not sell.
And over the years ow working with 10's of thousands of sales agents I will tell you the majority of the best that last the longest are introverts. The ones who are extroverts a lot of time work their selling skills and become over average but never reach greatest which is just a few more sales than most think they can do.
You are blessed to be an introvert and have chosen to sell. You stand the chance to not only be good at it but to be great. And as one of the greatest authors of all time said "Will you succeed, YES YES YES 98and 3/4% guaranteed. Kid, you will move mountains. So today is your day." Dr Suess. "Oh the Places You will Go" arguably the greatest sales training manual in the world" RIP Theodor Giesel

Remember that any brand that your business has is because of the character of the business. Every business as one person that establishes how the brand is seen. Make sure that your branding centers around that person. the last thing they can do is still you and your personality. My first new car dealership my closest competitor made fun of my marketing. For a period of time it upset me and I focused on how to stop it. Then I realized if I started doing to my marketing what they were doing I could leverage there advertising dollars and eventually push them away from trying to "flatter" my advertising. End of the story was they went from being the biggest in the area to being out of business because the only marketing they could do was use someone else's.
I am the true example of an accidental business owner. I was a dumbass Kansas dairy farmer in the late 70's and early 80's who could not make a profit so I had to find a job that would help to pay for me to farm. I made a decision that to make the most money I need to sell something and I need...

I am the true example of an accidental business owner. I was a dumbass Kansas dairy farmer in the late 70's and early 80's who could not make a profit so I had to find a job that would help to pay for me to farm. I made a decision that to make the most money I need to sell something and I need a job that I could start immediately. I landed at a new car dealership. While I struggled for the first 6 months I did survive. Then it all came together and within the next 3 years, I became one of the top salespeople in the region and then the nation.
But the dealer I was working for had major cash flow issues. I was able to help him out by buying the real estate the dealership was on and renting it back to him. This gave him a chance to survive another 6 months and he came to me that he was shutting the store down. Being in a small town I was either going to have to find another job or buy the franchise.
I learned from many mistakes and over the course was able to own in over 7 other major dealerships. When I chose to retire early I made a decision to help other businesses avoid and learn from all of the mistakes that I made. My passion became to see others succeed rather than my success. Focusing on helping others define their dreams and then turn those dreams into their success has rewarded me in more ways than I could ever imagine. Other than having retired 4 times now and still starting my day at 3 AM I think I have found my passion in the passion of others.
