About Us
Scriptorium Editing Services is a freelance editing business designed to support and coach writers of manuscripts ranging from the academic (dissertations, papers) to fiction and nonfiction (including memoir). I work locally and remotely and especially enjoy working with beginning writers.
How We Got Started
Scriptorium Editing Services was the logical next step for this retired English teacher (doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies) looking for her next act, after a long career teaching high school and undergraduate students and writing a dissertation on boys and writing. I love to learn, and I love to work with writers. Young Adult literature is a specialty, but I am open to all genres and writers.
