I would let them know that there are things that you might come across that you were not privy to. If you were to give a straight price and that price changed the customer would be some what peeved. Another way is to say you are charging time and materials and the customer would know week to week.

The market is going to fluctuate, especially during this politically charged environment. I believe we should stay the course.
