Lowcountry Listening Lab is an audiology private practice founded by Audiologist, Dr. Mary Anne Larkin. It is dedicated to helping those with auditory processing challenges. Our mission is to diagnose the auditory problem and provide deficit specific management strategies to maximize the use of auditory information. We help children, adolescents and adults have an enhanced quality of life by improving their ability to listen, process and understand and guide them to a better understanding of their listening and learning differences. We are the only practice in the state whose sole focus is to work with those possessing auditory processing issues. It is not unusual for families to travel two to three hours to see Dr. Larkin for an evaluation.

Dr. Mary Anne Larkin started Lowcountry Listening Lab after retiring from her full time audiology private practice in 2017. She has performed auditory processing testing for over 30 years and has grown to be very passionate about this underserved and under recognized population. She was not quite ready to leave the audiology profession so started this part time practice specializing only in the diagnosis of auditory processing disorders.
