We are the only (family) locally owned and operated funeral home in Mount Vernon. With state of the art facilities, that are welcoming and comforting, as well as immaculately clean.

How We Got Started

Founded in the fall of 2019, Aguilar Funeral Services began in the context of contract labor. Seeing it become successful and in demand, Tiffany Cooper-Aguilar (sole owner) turned her initial vision into a reality.

The Aguilar Family (Sulphur Springs, TX) and Cooper Family (Seguin, TX) have a history of being known for their philanthropic efforts. Contributing to the betterment of people and animals, their local communities and setting a standard for volunteering, are all things that have been instilled in the values of our funeral home.
