How We Got Started
I started thinking about this concept when I became a mom in 2012. My husband and I are on our own (we don't live close to any relatives) and therefore didn't have any built-in support. I learned (the hard way) that it truly takes a village to raise a child. Working moms need a lot of support, whether it's child care, house work, or any of the thousands of minutia that moms take on.
As I've built out a successful model for myself, I started thinking about how I can help other working moms who are in similar situations. I started talking to friends about the idea after my second child was born, and "Be Merry" became a business in 2020.
