We are currently using 15 year old Nikon lenses on modern Nikon bodies to shoot 10+GB of images a day while documenting construction sites. Without digital technology we wouldn't be in the business we are in.

That being said, my favorite camera to shoot with is a pre-digital Hasselblad. To me the act of setting up a tripod, looking through the viewfinder at the scene I am trying to capture. Waiting for the lighting to be right and setting the proper shutter speed and aperature to get the effect I want is all part of the experience of seeing. And when the shutter clicks on the Hasselblad I know that I have captured a picture. It may not be a great photograph, but I remember the feeling when I took it. I seldom get that same feeling when shooting 10GB of images in a day.
