My first observation about the family is that I suspect since you're not family nor a participant in the banter that apparently goes on,  your position could very well be on the line in the near future despite all you have done for the company. 

If the car tampering was from someone at the company then I would say it's really where you don't need to be.

You appear very smart, intelligent and involved in your position but look for something else. I was once in a very similar place. I found something else and for my own sanity & safety I moved on and have never looked back nor regretted my decision.
