What were your motives to start your own business & how did you deal with the risk of failure?

My reason for starting my business was because computers interested me I was good at it and worked on them all the time helping others find and fix problems. So I started charging and the next thing you know I was in business. Now decades latter I still love solving the various problems that people bring to me.
