Our founder, Don, was very ambitious in diversifying his love for serving locals. Over the last 25 years Don’s relentless passion and entrepreneurial spirit have grown the Truffles Group
from 1 employee to over 350.
Don’s career started off apprenticing in kitchens around Europe and the Caribbean with his last position
being an Executive Chef and Partner of a restaurant in the Caribbean. Upon his return to back to Canada
in 1992 he dedicated his drive and creativity into launching Truffles Catering, he grew the team to 50
and only after 2 years of being in business he took on a major contract with the Commonwealth games,
preparing 3,000 meals a day throughout the event. NO SMALL FEAT!
Since day 1, Don’s work ethic, passion for growth, success, commitment to sustainability and excellent
