My landlord in the Industrial Drive area has not been willing to reduce the rent. As a restaurant supplier, my business has been nearly destroyed by the Covid closures. The landlord has owned these many rental units in this complex for decades yet does not seem willing to reduce rent. After ten years of paying rent early and covering every single expense involved in this unit's repairs and maintenance, I see this as extremely short sighted.
I've been delighted to hear from my many restaurant customers about how many of them have received free rent, reduced rent or a combo of both. These accommodations are wise, will be long remembered and are a symbiosis which is the essence of long term business relations.
