I am a very transparent person and this is how I have always run my business. If there was a forum of some kind for me to address the rumors, I would put it out there in a way that I am just addressing some possible untrue rumors. I would then set about to set the record straight. I would try...

If there was a forum of some kind for me to address the rumors, I would put it out there in a way that I am just addressing some possible untrue rumors. I would then set about to set the record straight. I would try to take the high road and encourage people to come and judge for themselves. Hopefully, this would just put it to rest.
I believe that some people are very cautious when it comes to online posting or networking. I think more people do rely on the opportunities afforded by an online presence though.

This is an issue near and dear to my heart. I feel that to be transparent, as a business owner, I am not hiding things from my clients, my contractors, my vendors or staff members. I have long said that if I have to do something that I cannot share with my clients, then I don't feel comfortable...

This is an issue near and dear to my heart. I feel that to be transparent, as a business owner, I am not hiding things from my clients, my contractors, my vendors or staff members. I have long said that if I have to do something that I cannot share with my clients, then I don't feel comfortable doing it at all. I am sure some will think that this is a bit naïve...however, it is how I run my business. I know that some in our industry work off referral fees. If I have to hide it from my client, than I won't participate.
