About Us

Teal Ribbon Ovarian Cancer is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, advocating for, and supporting women and families affected by ovarian cancer. The founder is a survivor and Wellness Keynote Speaker: I took my “Pain into Purpose and Message into Mission”.

We are committed to raising awareness, empowering women to recognize the often-subtle early warning signs, and walking alongside patients and their loved ones through every stage of the journey—guided by our Teal R.O.C.-B.E.A.T of compassion and strength.

Through personalized patient shepherding, community advocacy, educational programs, and technical assistance for healthcare providers, we work tirelessly to ensure that no woman faces this disease alone. Our ultimate goal is to shift the narrative from late-stage diagnosis to early detection, timely action, and lasting hope.

How We Got Started

In 2022, I missed the early warning signs of ovarian cancer.
My name is Debra Wold, Founder and Survivor. This disease had been growing in my body for years. I didn’t recognize the symptoms, and it nearly cost me my life.

“I took my pain into Purpose, Message into Mission”
I founded Teal Ribbon Ovarian Cancer (TEAL R.O.C.), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to:

• Patient Shepherding
• Technical Support for healthcare providers
• Wellness keynote speaking, sponsorship engagement, advocacy, and serving as a strong social media voice
I am power women to know the early morning signs, how to track the symptoms and how to advocate for themselves to be heard and acknowledged.
