I attended the Michigan State school of Broadcast to become a disc jockey. I was hired by a local station, started weekend overnight shifts and worked my up to afternoon drive. Meanwhile the station liked the way I did radio commercials and made me the production director of the station. This meant I was in charge of all production for the local direct clients who needed a commercial produced for them. This led to a local ad agency, which concentrated on graphic design, calling me to get them into radio and TV. I also was their second sales rep. After the ownership changed I eventually left.
I started my own company writing radio commercials for $250 each.
This grew into building a recording studio where several, of us pumped out a large volume of commercials daily.

I eventually decided that the business should become an ad agency which has grown since that time.
