John has over 20 years of experience as a full-time Home Inspector in RI and MA and a desire to inform buyers about the house that may become there new home. My career as a Home Inspector started in 1998 after several years of experience in the construction industry as a licensed remodeling contractor and finish carpenter at which time I also gained experience in various building related trades. Since then I've had extensive training in all aspects of residential and commercial property inspection and am licensed in the States of RI and MA. I'm certified in Radon measurement and analysis, Wood Destroying Insect inspection, Septic Flow and Water Quality testing. I established Ocean State Home Inspections on May 1st of 2020.
