I'm a singer-songwriter in Nashville,TN. Originally from the small town of Fenton, Michigan, I grew up in a very musical family and started performing at a young age. I call my music Rugged Acoustic incorporating the picking styles of Jim Croce, John Denver and Eric Clapton with the percussive, rhythmic pulse of artists such as Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Tommy Emmanuel. My use alternative tunings gives my music an authentic edge resembling Stephen Stills, Joe Bonamassa or Dave Mathews. I like to describe my music as a contrast of Light and Dark in attempt to reflect our most Authentic selves. Most of my songs are hopeful and positive in nature. For longer performances we do play 20% cover songs to keep the show familiar to new fans.
My first 5 song EP was released in 2016, followed by my debut album release in November 2018. My most recent single “Beautiful Mistake” was release on Jan 30th 2023.

I have been playing music and singing since a very young age. I starting writing original lyrics with my friend and business partner Tom Stanton back in DC in the early 2000's. I left my healthcare career in 2019 to move to Nashville and pursue my dream of calling the stage my office. My band "Ridge Banks and the Wall of Sound" started as a quarantine garage band during the pandemic.
