For years, I worked in Big Pharma — calling on cardiologists, endocrinologists, the whole system. I saw firsthand how quickly doctors reached for a prescription pad, and how rarely anyone asked, "What's really going on in your life?"

I also saw the side effects nobody warned patients about. Memory loss from statins taken for decades. Dependency on anxiety medications that were only supposed to be temporary. People getting worse, not better — and being told it was just their age or their genetics.

Twenty-one years ago, I walked away. I knew there had to be a better way to help people heal and preventent.

And I wasn't speaking from theory. I've personally lived through depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, divorce, and the kind of life upheaval that makes you wonder if things will ever get better.

When you've been gaslit, beaten down, or told you're not enough for long enough, you start believing it. I know — I've been there. I hit rock bottom and lost all confidence and trust in myself. But I rebuilt it, and I'm living proof that you can too.

I was making a big paycheck while working for Big Pharma from 1996-2004. I left Big Pharma because of the corruption I witnessed and set out to learn how the body can self-heal when given the right environment. I opened Lifestyle As Medicine, LLC 21 years ago and have been helping people heal and feel better with holistic lifestyle upgrades ever since.
