I don't really own a business, I am the lead teacher at Nekoosa Academy, an alternative school for high school students that need to graduate on time. This is the 14 year that Nekoosa Academy has been in existence. By the end of this school year, 2018, 173 students will have gradutated from Nekoosa Academy.

No matter where you go in this world; there will be people that feel they need to gossip. In the work place gossiping should be stopped. There is no place for gossiping in the work place. Here is where I have talked to my students about gossiping and how to involve the soft skill "communication" and that there is an appropriate way to communicate and an inappropriate way to communicate. It goes back to that old saying, "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all". In order to have a productive business, you have to create an environment where all employees feel comfortable.
The staff and students at Nekoosa Academy will be starting a small business during 2nd semester, January of 2019. The small business will be called, Virtues Chocolates. We will be offering chocolates starting February 14th, Valentines Day. The price of the chocolates has not been determined yet....

We will be offering chocolates starting February 14th, Valentines Day. The price of the chocolates has not been determined yet. We will have a package of 6 chocolates and a package of 12 chocolates. The chocolates will be milk chocolate, with other flavors in the future as our business grows. Hopefully this site will help our Virtue Chocolates business to grow.
For me the best advertisement in my business of running Nekoosa Academy isn't done by generating ads but by the academy's reputation. The way a business represents themselves and takes care of their customers is the best advertisement a business can acquire; plus it is the most cost effective.

As any good business owner knows that the only way to keep your business the best it can be is to invest in your employees. To me this does not happen as often as it should. If you don't invest in your employees that make your business profitable, those excellent employees will move on to other...
