Although I believe that a living wage is important, as a non-profit my challenge is that my revenues do not increase when the rate increases creating challenges for me. I end up putting more responsibility on a smaller number of people. We also hire youth at minimum wage which also reduces the...

Although I believe that a living wage is important, as a non-profit my challenge is that my revenues do not increase when the rate increases creating challenges for me. I end up putting more responsibility on a smaller number of people. We also hire youth at minimum wage which also reduces the number of young people we can serve. I would like to see a lower minimum wage rate for temporary summer youth employment that way we can get more young people into the workforce.
