The GVTC Foundation, founded in 2006, is a 501c3 non-profit organization who donates to other non-profit organizations in our service area who supports one of our 6 categories: Health & Human Resources, Youth Services, Education, Emergency Services, Cultural & Public Charities. Since its inception, The GVTC Foundation has donated almost $3 Million to non-profits in our service area, including hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to high school seniors in our area.
Our CEO, Ritchie T. Sorrells, founded The GVTC Foundation to support the quality of life in our service area. It is funded by our employees and board of directors, with all donations being matched by GVTC at 150%. One Fundraiser is held each year, our Annual GVTC Charitable Golf Classic, with all funds going to our Foundation.
