I found my teaching to be a surprising source of stability during the turbulence of the past year. If anything, people come to value the arts more as they are faced with loss and upheaval. Now that things are reopening, however, I am loathe to return to business as normal. I am thinking about pivoting to online teaching with an emphasis on adult students in order to work more convenient hours and focus on the demographic where I feel I can have the most impact.
