Executive Producer/Founder Anne Kaplan began her career in independent film production, transitioning to education with a MA at Teachers College/Columbia U. She was able to combine these interests producing award-winning videos for teachers. Her work soon expanded to include online learning and instructional design with the development of online courses. She created Five Pebbles in 2016 with a goal of using video to teach and inform across a wide range of issues. She brings along a team of talented production staff and experienced educators who have shared hundreds of hours in classrooms and other settings across the country, collaborating on hundreds of hours of video products teaching and learning. As a team we believe that video is a powerful tool for learning and engagement and are passionate about using it towards positive social change.
