My savings account. I withdrew $30,000 to pay bills. I own my office (it is a professional coop), so I could not benefit from rent consideration. I had to pay maintenance, real estate taxes, phone bills, credit card bills etc. The only services I could suspend were the private garbage pick up that businesses are required to hire and my answering service. I forwarded phones to my home.
I was turned down for a PPP loan from Chase, my bank of 30 years. Ultimately, my accountant found an on line bank, Blue Vine, that gave me a PPP loan later on. I only received half of what I asked for. Amex was nice...they waived payment for one month and it was dearly appreciated. Citibank master card insisted on full payment immediately. Same for my mortgage with them.

Despite a 30 year relationship with Chase I got nothing. In fact, none of my peers were successful in getting any money. Totally deceived us all. We spent hours listening to webinars on the subject for naught. Chase, Citibank, etc. Shame on you!

I had been seeing patients through yesterday. I had an unusually high percentage of patients coming in for Botox treatments (which relax the frown and worry lines of the face for up to 6 months). With fewer outlets to give people pleasure ( No theater, movies, sports, shopping), this remained one of the few ways to get a cosmetic lift and make oneself feel better. I generally ask directly. My children's schools have annual auctions/fundraising parties where items get auctioned. I ask the businesses I regularly support (restaurants, hair and nail salons, toy stores, etc) for donations. Most businesses are happy to donate a gift card, since it brings a new customer in. I also donate a cosmetic service from my dermatology practice for the same reason.
If a business I visit weekly (such as a nail salon) refuses, I am offended and typically stop patronising them. It shows they don't value me as a customer.
What I love most about my work is that I see my results. A rash goes away, acne clears up, skin growths vanish without a trace! I can also make people look younger (and happier) by lessening frown and other deep lines. And all done from my office.
