About Us

After my sons went off to college—one to Princeton for Sociology and Theater, the other to Washington University in St. Louis for Engineering—I completed my initial college counseling training.

Having earned a College Counseling Certificate with distinction from UCLA and finishing the IECA Summer Training Institute, I founded Monarch College Counseling. With a Finance degree from the University of Illinois, I am equipped to expertly navigate the admissions process and provide caring guidance to students and parents. I've mediated for families nationwide, offering solutions through the many challenges of the college admissions process. Ultimately, it's about celebrating your child's educational journey and your role as a supportive parent.

As parents, we cultivate our children's values, character, and voices to share with the world. We help them discover their aptitudes and passions, fostering their independence. We encourage diverse activities not just for resumes but to uncover enduring joy. When it's time for college, we trust in their ability to embrace the campus experience and value themselves.

At Monarch College Counseling, we guide students toward their next chapter. Our focus is on finding the right college fit for our students and families: academic, social, and financial.
