My clients have found the best results come from a mix of marketing materials. It normally takes frequent exposure to the marketing message to gain traction. And the more avenues you take to get your message out, the better your chances to gain attention. Some of the effective channels that work are email, website, direct mail, brochures, and advertising online and in print.
