That is tough. I had someone try to withhold payment claiming a 'religious practice'.. then left a horrible review despite the fact that I did not even work with the client because of this issue.  I would say make sure to respond to compliant. I had someone try to withhold payment claiming a 'religious practice'.. then left a horrible review despite the fact that I did not even work with the client because of this issue.  I would say make sure to respond to compliant. I read owner response. We know when someone has a legitimate complaint and just complaining to hear one's self or for motive.    Make sure to ask clients to review.  No one is perfect.
