About Us
I am a certified Equine Canada Instructor. I am a proponent of Equitation Science. I Have my full diploma in ES and I am helping students understand how and why horses do what they do. The last 2 years of study through the Australian Equestrian Behavioural Center has been a fascinating journey for me. I love learning and the science based understanding of Horses is so informative and helps all equines and all disciplines of riders. We can make better welfare choices for our horses through proper use of learning theory . Come on out and learn how horses really do think. Kathy
How We Got Started
I started by enrolling in several Equitation short intensive courses and Dr. McLeans Lectures. I achieved my full Equitation Science Diploma course. The more improvement I see for my own horses and my own riding. The more I like to help with the welfare of all horses. We can do better.

For my self teaching horse riding lessons, Equitation Science is relativly new to Canada.I’m finding word of mouth still one of the best for business. I use business cards with email and phone numbers.

Yes I would. If a person is teaching/coaching using a different format from myself and being successful that’s great. I would refer clients and be happy to do so. I think it brings you more business by being positive about other business people working in the same field.My personal thoughts only...

The most satisfying aspect of my business “ smart riding” is helping horses and people do well together. Through scientific behavioural training. There is a better safer way to train. Happy people and calm secure horses. Making the world a better place for all horses. Love my job.
