How will you show support for small businesses during Small Business Saturday this year?
Answered by:
We are trying to network with small businesses that we can recommend to our clients; bakeries, photographers, florists, restaurants. We always have but now, since our business has gotten even more local, I find that we have more couples looking for services in North Haledon/Hawthorne/Paterson. (We marry people...)
We have always tried to shop from small businesses.
As an aside, WABC TV has been doing an amazing job spotlighting small businesses on their shows (Good Morning America and Localish). We've bought a lot of things for my business through their recommendations.

Just be sure that if you patronize these "small businesses" (in some cases the term is being used broadly) that you realize the television networks and local stations got in trouble early on for not including the fact that they are receiving promotional consideration.
Forced to do so, they now issue the disclaimer. If you're comfortable with GMA getting a cut (which obviously increases the price you are paying for a product often rarely sold at the list price advertised AND the fact that, unless it is stated otherwise, the price offered does not include shipping) then by all means indulge yourself.
