About Us

We offer the more traditional style of yoga which includes meditation, breathwork, and study of the yogic philosophies such as ayurveda. Rather than an athletic yoga, we offer a yoga about turning within and increasing body awareness. Massage styles are swedish, shiatsu, Thai,+ myofascial release.

How We Got Started

I became a yoga instructor /massage therapist in Ca after 6 years of teaching French in River Falls Wi. I worked at Cal Inn and Spa until I developed tendinitis in my forearms. I had to take time off. I returned to Mn to take a job teaching French at Roosevelt High School and then Centennial in Circle Pines. I had 40 students in a crowded classroom and decided after a year of that to set myself up in a small space in Circle pines for doing massage and teaching yoga. I was in Circle Pines for 14 years then closed my studio so that I could tend to my mother in the end of her life. I was lucky to be able to rent space at Peace united in Shoreview.

Luckily, I rent space from a church that charges me a percentage per student.  Best situation ever. If I was paying a normal lease I'd be way in the hole.  (more) Luckily, I rent space from a church that charges me a percentage per student.  Best situation ever. As of last week, we decided to keep yoga classes going We have a large space so we can be spread out.  However, I won't be doing massage for employees at hcmc anymore. I decided this would be a good time to retire. I'm also a sub in the schools.  I have heard that schools might be closing...
