About Us

We are a premier pet sitting service, offering additional specialty services in the pet's homes. Consultations offered for post-op care, adaptation instruction & guidance for special needs, home modification and some behavioral modification. Behavior issues can stem from the slightest things, but we recommend consulting a certified trainer first. Then we can help and guide you along the way to continue this process. House sitting in many homes allows a unique objective view to modify simple routines or objects to make for a positive change.

How We Got Started

Tammy was laid off unexpectedly from specialty practice in 2009. She was working intimately alone on overnights with special needs pets post op or in distress from their disabilities. Part of her job was discharging patients to their owners, which brought a new light into the need for further home care instruction. These concerns gave her the idea to offer this at home service to clients along with pet sitting and overnight care.

Why YES, my own business!! I went into the Navy at 18, and was the first female to do almost everything I had done while I was in. I was the second group of females to start boot camp at Great Lakes IL, 2 groups of women integrated with 2 groups of men, forming 2 "companies" that worked together,... (more) Why YES, my own business!! I went into the Navy at 18, and was the first female to do almost everything I had done while I was in. I was the second group of females to start boot camp at Great Lakes IL, 2 groups of women integrated with 2 groups of men, forming 2 "companies" that worked together, exercised, ate, and classes together every day. The rest of the boot camp consisted of 14,000 men. Then I was the first female in my command in San Diego, CA at the base then known as Miramar/Top Gun. I was the first female plane captain in my command and the first 100 women on the USS Nimitz and to work as a plane captain on the flight deck. It was tough, but glad I did it, making me a much stronger woman and leader with that experience! I also was in the Army reserves for a year, and after that, back in the Navy reserves working with the P3's at NAS Brunswick! That experience brought me to loving Maine and I eventually moved here and settled down. So glad I did!! That foundation gave me the strength and structure to start my own business. I don't know if I would've done so without that experience.
