I am an occupational therapist specializing in pelvic floor therapy. Pelvic floor dysfunctions can include pelvic pain syndromes, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, dyspareunia or pain with intercourse, pain from an episiotomy or scarring, vulvodynia, vestibulitis, or other similar complications.
I have completed Herman and Wallace 1, 2A, and 2B which has equip me with the ability to evaluate and treat pelvic floor dysfunctions.
Treatment modalities consist of visceral manipulation, soft tissue manipulations, scar tissue release, education and strengthening, just to name a few.
Early in my education, I attended classes for doula training and postpartum doula training. This fueled me to continue working with an undeserved population of women during the peri-natal and post-natal stages which I do as a pelvic floor therapist.
