The Gardens of Castle Rock is located on the site that was previously Switzer's Nursery. Glenn's grandfather purchased the nursery originally established in 1926. His father took over the business after working for the National Park Service. After college, Glenn became owner and incorporated landscape architecture into the business. The transition from nursery to outdoor wedding venue and event center became an organic one. Glenn has built 4 different ceremony sites, an outdoor stone fireplace, a wood-fired pizza oven, and many other features. Such as the covered bar area, the dressing cottage, the additional bathrooms and now the larger dressing suite. The dressing suite will be completed before the start of the 2018 wedding season. Ever changing, ever growing. This new passion has really blossomed at The Gardens!
