Advanced Etiquette was established in 1992, at the encouragement of Syndi's husband to start any business, just so they could take off to enjoy vacations at will. The first mission and objective were to build an etiquette training business that would help "women and minorities gain the skills that would break through glass ceilings" in the workplace and help "individuals master skills to display confidence and authority in any business and social situation, anywhere in the world."
