First, learn the advanced features and shortcuts of Zoom, Go To Meeting, and Cisco Webex; and then share them when the opportunity arises during a meeting.  For example, in Zoom, when you are Muted, simply press and hold down the space bar to temporarily allow you to speak.  When you release the space bar, you are again muted. This eliminates the need to click Unmute and then Mute yourself again.  There are many shortcuts, so learn them and share. Secondly, focus on the meeting and give it 100% attention, as if you were there in person.  Others can see who is distracted and not really engaged; and frankly, it is unprofessional. Thirdly, if you can see that some people joined by phone only, state your name before speaking so they know who is talking.  Set the example for others to follow, if the Moderator forgets to mention it. Fourthly, be prepared and rehearsed with a description of who you are, what you do, and what you offer.  Practice it so it is polished. Keep it concise, but speak at a moderate, relaxed pace (not slow).  It comes across as very professional; and speaks volumes about quality and efficiency.  Whatever else you do,  don't ramble on and on. Finally, when you comment, don't echo what was already said.  Add to it, or put a different spin on it; but to just say it again is a time waster.

Owners, Managers and Staff of businesses will not maintain PRISTINE Safety protocols, and will put us all in danger. Management will not have ongoing safety meeting with employees.  Many Managers don't actually follow protocols, so neither do their staff. . Already open stores, like Safeway, Lucky, CVS and Rite Aid will continue to back their employees, even when the employees clearly and incontestably violate social distancing and other safety protocols.  (LUCKY'S MEAT DEPARTMENT is a MAJOR VIOLATOR, and MANAGEMENT REFUSES TO ADDRESS IT.
