Senior Alternatives is an independently owned agency that has been serving the community since 1995. We offer a unique model that combines master level Care Management and Homecare services helping to ensure a more comprehensive continuum of care.
Because we hire and manage the homecare staff directly, we have built a very cohesive and effective care team. All employees are bonded and covered by a professional liability insurance policy and part of the California State Registry. Our Care Managers provide oversight to the caregivers to ensure a smooth process. Care Managers are also available to hire if home care is not needed but management of the person is.

Janet Brush founded Senior Alternatives in 1995. Janet holds Master's degrees in both Social Work and Gerontology and is a licensed clinical social worker(LCSW) in the state of California. She has a passion for aging matters and has extensive experience in the field of gerontology, depression, caregiving issues and other problems associated with the aging process. She leads a wonderful group of care managers who add to the success of Senior Alternatives.
