I think every forum has pros and cons specially in the social media in which many eyes some of which you know and other one does not and I always felt to separate my personal side from the professional one is vital so one should set up multiple pages and the ones dedicated to ones business should only promote and carry only pertinent information to be viewed by those interested in that field that browse and possibly join the mission statements of ones visions as a company.
