I can’t imagine any reputable brokerage NOT recommending a home inspection. It’s never a bad idea to take a experienced agent with you. It’s free and has value, especially if your agent works with the builders in the area already. They know which questions to ask and how to manage the builder rep, who is obligated to represent the builder, not you. Most builder reps are...
