Yelp is clearly a for profit business. Their practices of displaying reviews and costs "to own" the business page are one step short of extortion. I'm fortunate that all of my reviews are good, but their reach and influence is greatly exaggerated for specialty business. They made the final decision for me when they excluded the firearms industry from their listings without any consideration of the public safety and women's safety training that are involved. Save the time and ignore them, their relevance seems to be waning.
