This business has been in our family since 1999 and began on Main Street in Odon as the Malt Shop. In 2006 we moved to the 100 West Main Street Location as the Odon Essen Haus, Amish style buffet restaurant. We expanded in 2014 as a bakery and then downsized to just the Kaffee Haus Bakery in 2017. Regina and Jake Lindy bought the Kaffee Haus in 2024 and changed the name to Homestead Restaurant and Bakery in 2025.
